I teach students nationwide what I know and love – great writing, resume and interview skills. Students learn to master interview skills and transform their dreams, goals and experiences into memorable college and grad school application essays.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Cornell University and a Master of Science degree from Boston University’s College of Communication. After a 20 year career in television, which included a Writers Guild Award for All My Children and two Emmy® Award nominations, I founded First Impressions College Consulting.

What’s a soap opera writing doing teaching college application essays?

When I wrote for television, I had to create interesting and compelling stories that held the viewer’s attention. That’s exactly what a great college application essay needs to do.
